Cincinnati Bell - Fioptics cable and internet are always going out and the problems are never fixed
My road just had fioptics lines put in about a month ago. So, I signed up and decided to try the cable and internet.
Well, that was a huge mistake! I had problems starting on day 1. I live in the 8100 block of Woodruff Road in Cincinnati, Ohio 45255. My cable and internet have gone down five times since I had it installed two weeks ago.
The cable is very unreliable and the picture will freeze up and start pixelating to where you can't watch a show. The internet speeds are supposed to be 30 MB upload and I get around 17 to 18. They told me weather wouldn't affect it. Well, it does.
Every time it thunderstorms, the cable will go out.
Customer service is only open during business hours, so if something happens on a Saturday or Sunday night, you won't get it fixed until the following week. Poor and unreliable service.
Reason of review: Bad quality.

Cincinnati Bell Pros: No contracts.
Cincinnati Bell Cons: Poor customer service, Unreliable cable tv, Slow internet speeds, Channel selection.

I agree with this review-I also live in that area off of Eight Mile Road and have the same problems. My picture is always freezing up and the sound will just go out for no reason.
The DVR box never works right. The picture quality on the HD channels isn't good at all like they advertise. My internet speeds like yours are quite slow. I thought fioptics was supposed to be better quality but it isn't.
I'm going back to Time Warner Cable.
