Cincinnati Bell SUCKS.
If I could give them negative stars, I would.
Please realize that cable companies suck in general, and when you sign up, they won't tell you that after a year, your monthly price will go up. They also won't tell you how much it will go up - mine DOUBLED (from $90 to $175/mo) with Cincinnati Bell without any warning (apparently on your online bill if you scroll through lists, select the right items on a dropdown menu, and somehow manage to click the right buttons it tells you that your promotion is ending without any explanation of what that means).
As *** as that is, that's not even why I'm writing this review. Not only did I get blindsided with the first $175 bill, but the next billing cycle started the day after they sent me that bill so that by the time I realized it I already owed them another $175 for the next month. Ridiculous, I know.
Finally, the customer service is AWFUL - when I expressed my concern that a company would treat their customers (especially ones who have paid their bills on time, every time) this way, the supervisor's response that he could "take $5 off the monthly price" so that I would pay $170/month. Wow, thanks. And the real kicker is that when I informed him that I would no longer like to do business with Cincinnati Bell, he informed me that he could shut the signal off "right now" if that's what I would like AFTER HE JUST TOLD ME I ALREADY HAD TO PAY THEM $175 FOR THE NEXT MONTH OF SERVICE ANYWAY - essentially, he could cancel the service that I was already billed for. He did all of this while acting as though he was doing me a huge favor - gee, thanks.
Cincinnati Bell, if you want to do shady business and screw people out of their money, fine. But please stop treating your customers like they are idiots.

Absolutely. They've pulled the "double billing" stunt with me.
Luckily, I live within driving distance of their store in Kenwood so I march over there and raise ***. Every month without FAIL I have to go scream at them. You'd think they'd get tired of it and FIX THE PROBLEM but no.
It's like the Keystone Cops are running the place.
I cant agree more. They are horrible in so many ways.
Their customer service is terrible and cant even speak good English. Then they read from a script. Honestly, i dont know how they are still in business. The cable and internet service is even worse.
Every single day, either the internet goes down or cable channels freeze up or speeds are really slow. Its always something. They are so unreliable it isnt funny. Then they lie about your bill, about how weather doesnt affect it etc.
Im telling all my friends and family not to go with them.
