After reading other reviews on here, it looks like I'm not alone in the problems I am having with my Fioptics service. It is junk and has been problematic since I had it installed.

Whenever I change the channels on my HD boxes, the screen freezes up and acts like its in slow motion for a while. Not only that, but it takes a while for the channel to actually change and respond. Ive replaced my cable-top boxes and router but that didn't help at all. The picture pixelates quite often and the cable goes out a lot during bad weather.

The sound doesnt match the screen.

I also have a lot of Internet issues to. Go with a different provider!

Had the same issue. Turns out it's a infra red issue with certain tvs. If you ask the for the infra red stickers you can put one in your cable box and it fixed all the issues

If the cable lines are buried underground you should not lose signal in bad weather. I can see that happening with a dish attached to the house but not with underground lines
